About the Installation Assurance Authority Commercial Services (IAA CS) training
The IAA has become the go to technical authority for advice and support on energy efficiency measures having led the way on the development of technical guides for the industry, ensuring that standards are met by providing exemplary quality assurance, consumer protection and commercial services. The IAA has led the way in the delivery of effective, quality coordination services and has been fundamental to the development of current practices.
The IAA CS also offers training in courses to support industry standards including the Level 2 Award in Understanding Domestic Retrofit.

Course Pre-Requisites
There are no formal entry requirements for learners undertaking this qualification, although it is ideal for those who are interested in working in the retrofit industry and those already in the retrofit industry.

Course Outline
This course introduces learners to the retrofit sector of the construction industry. Once learners have completed their qualification, they will have knowledge and understanding of the principles of retrofit and will focus on the building insulation arena of retrofit. 

Qualification Outcome
On successful completion of an online exam you will achieve a recognised qualification from The National Open College Network (NOCN) Level 2 Award in Understanding Domestic Retrofit (UDR) who are an Ofqual regulated qualification.
Please note the exam is booked at a suitable time with the learner after course sessions are completed.
