Role Purpose
Responsibilities: 
Delivering a PAS 2035 Compliant Retrofit Coordinator Service
Liaising with installation teams and clients as necessary.
Liaising with platform developers and accreditation bodies, including Trustmark to resolve disputes arising from audit failures.
Liaising with colleagues to resolve issues and identify system/process improvements.
Completing compliance checks of project documentation and evidence for multiple concurrent PAS 2035 projects.
Initiating contact with installation company installers when required and be the point of contact to answer any questions regarding design choices.

Skills/Attributes: 
Ability to influence and develop people, as well as being able to analyse key data, make decisions and produce reports for both internal management and external clients. An eye for detail and be analytical in approach, whilst being able to make commercially astute decisions.
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise own workload and co-ordinate that of others to meet deadlines.
Good understanding and capability with MSOffice office suite, ideally with knowledge of industry software e.g., ECMK and The IAA ISA platform.
An organised approach to project management with close attention to detail and a keen focus on processes.
Excellent communication skills:
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with key clients and senior management, householders, contractors, planners, architects, engineers, building control officers etc.
Advice and coordination services – Set client expectations as to what can be achieved.
Understanding of when to seek clarification from other colleagues or experts.
Assist decision-making and take projects in an appropriate direction in terms of scale, costs, other priorities etc.
Sensitive communication skills including conflict management and resolution.
Taking a considered and proportionate approach to risk. 

Qualifications:
Level 5 Diploma in Domestic Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management.
DEA qualified - Experience in domestic energy efficiency. Experience

Desired:
MCIOB or MRICS Membership

Essential:
Experience of working in, or understanding of, the ECO/GHGVS sectors.
Knowledge and understanding of PAS2030/ PAS2035.
Construction industry experience such as working as a Contractor, Surveyor, Site Manager/Agent or Clerk of Works etc.
A good understanding of the principles of Building Physics as relating to the fabric of existing buildings and the potential consequences of retrofit energy efficiency measures.
A good understanding of a range of building services systems - particularly heating, Insulation and ventilation systems.
Experience in carrying out retrofit works in a domestic setting and experience of working with domestic refurbishment clients.
Ability to review, analyse and benchmark energy performance.
Ability to identify potential technical solutions.
Previous quality assurance or compliance background.
Awareness of commissioning in mechanical and electrical systems (ventilation and heat).
Should show good awareness of Health and Safety on-site and be willing and able to raise concerns where appropriate.
Experience of on-site monitoring tools and their appropriate use, e.g.

Thermal imaging
Air pressure tests
Moisture meters
Flow and pressure meters for ventilation systems

Knowledge of project risk management in construction in relation to control of time of directly related and consequential damages. Other Requirements:To undergo training and development in line with the needs of the business
